Pollinating EU

Related to Apimondia event, BeeLife, Danish Beekeepers Association, in cooperation with Zenia Stampe (MP) and Sigrid Friis (MEP), The Social Liberal Party (Radikale Venstre) launch the Pollinating EU Congress, hold in Copenhagen - Danish Parliament - on 22nd September.  A pollinator-friendly Europe is not a utopia, it’s a necessity.

Bees & Bugs Roundtable

On 15 July 2025, PAN Europe and POLLINIS, alongside MEPs César Luena and Sebastian Everding, raised concerns about the EU’s failure to protect bees and other vital arthropods from harmful pesticides. BeeLife contributed with speeches by Noa Simon Delso, Scientific Director, and Constantin Dobrescu, Romapis VP and BeeLife Board Member.

19th May - Workshop in Brussels

On 19th May 2025, BeeLife coordinated workshops bringing together EU pollinator-related research projects to explore collaboration opportunities, align data practices, and strengthen the collective impact of ongoing efforts to protect pollinators and biodiversity.

EU Pollinator Week

The 2021 EU Pollinator week will take place online between 27-30 September. Through the productive and insightful four days discussing pollinator health, we aim to spread the buzz of the newest science and policy actions regarding existing challenges and potential solutions for their protection.
