A webinar for beekeepers, farmers and everyone committed to the future of pollinators and European honey

Protecting Pollinators Starts with Dialogue. Across Europe, beekeepers and farmers witness every day both the vulnerability and the resilience of bees. They understand better than anyone that healthy pollinator populations are closely linked to healthy ecosystems, sustainable agriculture and resilient food production.

For this reason, BeeLife is pleased to launch the first webinar of the EU BeeLovers Campaign, a European initiative supported by the European Commission and designed to strengthen awareness of the role of beekeeping and pollinators in our society.

Taking place on 8 July 2026 from 19:00 to 20:00 CET, this first online event, dedicated to French-speaking participants in Belgium, will focus on practical solutions that can help protect bees while supporting sustainable beekeeping.

The webinar will combine policy perspectives, field experience and practical recommendations, covering topics such as:

  • The future of European beekeeping;

  • The environmental challenges affecting bees and pollinators;

  • Honey quality, traceability and market recognition;

  • Sustainable colony management;

  • Good practices that benefit both beekeepers and farmers.

A webinar for those working closest to nature

Whether you manage hives, cultivate crops, advise farmers, support biodiversity projects or simply care about the future of pollinators, this session offers an opportunity to hear directly from experienced professionals and contribute to the discussion.

The programme includes contributions from:

  • Étienne Bruneau, BeeLife Vice-President and recognised expert on bees, pesticides and environmental issues.

  • Bruno Harmant, beekeeper and advocate of sustainable beekeeping practices.

Participants will also be able to submit questions and engage directly with the speakers during the final discussion session.

This webinar marks another step in BeeLife's commitment to supporting beekeepers, protecting pollinators, promoting honey and more resilient agricultural systems across Europe.

Follow both BeeLife and EU BeeLovers to stay informed about upcoming webinars, project developments, interviews and resources dedicated to bees, pollinators, biodiversity and European beekeeping.
